your vpwebhosting.com accounts. To configure Outlook 97, follow
the simple instructions below.
Open Microsoft Outlook 97
and choose "Tools" from the menu bar.
Choose "Services".
Click on the "Services"
tab.
"Internet Mail"
should be one of the information services listed there.
If it is not, click on the
"Add" button, then highlight "Internet Mail",
and click on "OK".
If it is, highlight "Internet
Mail", and click on the "Properties" button.
Now, we will use the example
of an account with vpwebhosting.com with the following account
info:
Domain name: xyz.com
Userid: abcdefg
In the "Internet Mail"
dialog box, click on the "General" tab. Fill in the
boxes as follows:
Full name: Your Name
E-mail address: abcdefg@xyz.com

Next, click on the "Connection"

If you log onto your Internet
Service Provider (ISP) and then check your mail, choose "Connect
using the network". If you want Outlook to dial into your
ISP for you, then choose "Connect using the modem".
If you choose the latter, you will need to contact your ISP for
instructions on configuring your dialer.
Click on "Apply".
Click on "OK".
Click on "OK" again.
Now to retrieve your mail,
in the Outlook window, choose "Tools" from the menu
bar.
